I agree, what a ste plot!
The other thing is wasn't that the foreman stood there who ordered them to be taken down anyhow because they were crap and he knew Phelan had done them?
That was the entire reason Pat got sacked! Because he'd poured it in the rain!

It is just lazy writing by the scriptwriters. It almost as if they think "we need to get rid of Phelan, how can we make it as stupid as possible". It could have been so much better if they could be bothered.

Pat to Eileen - "Are you all ready for the high seas?" I hope she'a a strong swimmer. Just a hunch.......

The plod do seem to be jumping the gun. All they have to do is ask the foreman which workers built the concrete foundations. Clearly whoever did it will have known the body was included. (One heck of a lot of boot and shroud were visible - how come Gary couldn't see it?)

I hope the writers for today's episodes have stepped up to the plate. Please rid us of these turbulent scribes.........

Johnny has a big chunk transferred out of his account as a deposit on the new Spanish property - does he have a magic money tree? Business owners on Corry are depicted as always minted.

The standout in last nights episode was Audrey in the DJ studio...

That was Corrie at it's best.

Can anyone remember ? I must admit the number and complexity of storylines these days means I can barely recall what, who or why. The sale to Matthew Singh didn't go through, I remember that much, so where did the cash come from? Insurance claim?

I know it's offshore fishing, but that boat looks a bit big for a crew of one. Would an owner seriously rent it out on that basis?

Counting down the minutes until 8.30......

I can't stand the suspense.....

Part of me hopes Eileen will end up in the drink, she has been so stupid not seeing the wood for the trees.....silly old bint.

The dialogue was like something from Austin Powers. The forthcoming plot being telegraphed by full advance explanation.

Exactly my thoughts too. I reckon there's a good chance his body won't be found, and he'll turn up again in a few months.

Think the old bill would have wanted to have a chat with Eileen before letting her go back to the holiday cottage for a brew with Tim and Liz tongue out

Like Dirty Den in Eastenders, he'll pop into Eileen's and say "Hello Princess"...biggrin

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aipV-TwEjA,

Tim and Liz must have had a supercharged E type Jag to get from Weatherfield up to Whitehaven in ten/ fifteen minutes, usually a two and half hour journey.

Set up so they can bring Pat back at a later date when the ratings dip.

How come nobody has noticed that Eva is 7 months pregnant?
