i think theyre going for the full gamut of irritation with Fern Cotton and her wingeing nasal voiceover too. infact any advert with her, the bloody Tesco mobile one is just as bad. She still talks like she's on childrens TV... "littul" she cant say little properly.
Extremely annoying, her whingey voice is like nails down a blackboard to me. Can't say 'mobile' either.'Tesco mobarl'

Its been mentioned but that channel hopping self promoting newsman Dan Walker I think
Wittering on about it not being about the presenter its about the news all the while promoting himself
My wife thinks he is "quite nice" the same way she thought some of our daughters boyfriends were quite nice

Didn’t really know him before the Strictly fiasco.
A ten minute speech EVERY week about how humbled he was to be voted in, yet again... he even admitted that he “wasn’t a dancer”.
No s**t Sherlock.
( News for you Mr Walker, guys were actually voting for Natalya... who you seemed to forget each week)

There are a lot of comments on this thread about the high level of diversity in adverts. This article in the times puts some numbers behind that to show that our perception is much higher than reality and the representation in tv advertising is also high

Most surprising statistic in there for me was that 34% of Americans earn more than $100,000.

and yet, as he makes clear in the second part of that piece, if you read press like the Mail and Express, you would think Britain, and especially it's schools are overrun by the gays and the transgenders, never mind the Muslims. Got to keep the haters hating. How US left has warped our view of the UK

I’m surprised that the total combined figure for the gay and lesbian community is only 1.8%, I’d have probably guessed around 6-8%. I can’t blame tv adverts for that, it’s just my own thinking but as always I’m happy to be proved wrong and learn something new.
As for the actual adverts the article proves how ridiculous they’ve become recently and how they actively skew perceptions.
