They're probably antagonistic because of his acting ability. It's shocking even by Corrie standards.

After Caz, everyone looks like Pacino and De Niro. There was a scene where she didn't have to speak, and she was even awful in that!

Actually , the non speaking scenes are the ones where decent acting really stands out.Watch Gemma (where is she btw ?) and she is constantly reacting , facially and physically, to what is going on. But watch Jude - he stands there staring into space , doesn't move a muscle and waits for his cue. Watch what Mary does - you can see her every thought passing through her mind .

What interests me is that this is a top soap (to us it's the only one) with massive viewing figures. Presumably the casting crew have every agency at their fingertips, and can pick and choose at will from all the hopefuls. How the heck have they ended up with some of the thespians we've endured of late? They could barely make it in a Stoke Poges AmDram ensemble.

To think that we've had Ian McKellen, Timothy West, Nigel Havers and more. What's going on?

There's something about Jude's face that makes it worse - he's just bland to look at, a sort of beige person. Magnolia on legs. No facial expression, no apparent interest in anything, even acting.

Simon got that wrong, sort of. But will it pique Leanne's interest enough to make her want to investigate?
