It would be even better if we got a clue who these cameos are.
the basketballer giving the motivational talk to Chuck was Kareem Abdul Jabbar. No idea who the businessman at the start was, assuming he was a cameo and not just a st actor.Kevin Cozner said:

That would still mean nothing to me, apart from he was in Airplane! so I have a recollection. Other than that I know nothing at all about himI have no idea who the bloke was a few episodes ago either who was being offered VP, but really checking out to see if he wants to run for President. I know US shows like to bring real life people into their fictional TV shows, but it’s pretty confusing when they’re not known outside the US.
I’ve watched from the start. Can someone explain why Prince is perceived as a big villain by the legacy cast?
I just don’t see it.
It’s also begun to irritate that all the characters are spitting their lines out as quick as they can, they all really sound the same.
Writing here is not what it was .

Much as it pains me ( I've really loved billions from season 1 episode 1) this latest series is a tiny bit irritating with the "machine gun" lines being fired out from some of the cast and the constant inclusion of "famous" cameo roles from people I don't recognise generally.
Feels like additional fancy toppings on a basic pizza that no one really wants that were stuffed in for the sake of it!
Currently although still enjoying it overall, I feel I'm just awaiting the next acting masterclass from Chuck and waiting to see how Damien Lewis is going to get back into the plot fully as my main enjoyment/interest.

I still don't understand this Prince must be stopped from running at all costs storyline. Are we supposed to believe he would be so much worse than (e.g.) that redneck woman in the last episode that Chuck wants to help her? Prince hasn't done anything so abhorrent that we should believe he's the next coming of Hitler?
Or am I missing something?
I'm actually starting to hope the smug brigade fail to stop him

I'm enjoying this, I love the way things are set up. Chuck being snubbed at the 'retreat' sets up some machievalian plot twists later...
One of those episodes I never enjoy but, yeah, often a pay out later. Also not entirely sure what they're getting at - Prince = bad President as main plot. Is it that his untouchable, unaccountable I'm right nature is considered that bad? Team Prince/America World Police? A Trump dig?
It’s clearly a Trump dig. He’s painted as a likeable but flawed character early on and then as seasons progress he’s become more egotistical, more convinced of his invincibility and his sycophants have been portrayed as only giving him the news he ways and hanging off his every word, massaging his ego and an almost cult like reverence of him.
His internal cpeeches were compared to Hitler and that he’s going to be all powerful. Not just the one who is in charge of the economy (the buck stops here), but the one who is the economy (I am the buck)

The last season of billions is crap, I cannot take to Mike Prince at all. It has not been the same without Damien Lewis in it I would even let him sing if he had come back.
Pretty much agree. I think he comes back for the final few episodes. I think the series ran its course a few seasons back and should have ended when Axe left originally. It’s gone from a well acted gritty drama into a fast talking overly political load of nonsenseLF5335 said:

I started watching S7 and thought the same, and also, "Where the heck is Axe?!"I think the last season I watched must have been S5 that was split into two halves, and I've missed S6.
I wasn't enamoured with the last season I watched anyway so I'm not in a hurry to catch up. Might check to see what my last post on here was, that should help identify what I last watched!
