My missus has read all of their books, she reckons Ant's latest book 'the Fear Bubble' is better than his first. To me, Ant comes across as a grade A bell end.

Watched that too, he didn’t come across at all well did he, and doesn’t in his books either.

Ant's a typical SBS short-arse - angry about everything because he's little...

That's what makes the SBS so dangerous - they're seriously pissed off about everything laugh

Thought the same! People withdrawing who I'd never seen before!

Cancer MILF is storming again after her mid-course wobble. I actually wonder whether more was made of her (lack of) stamina than was actually prevalent, so that she could do her back story.

She was showing all her strengths last night: personal strength, team player and coach, and leader. Very impressive lady.

I really dislike Ant, he's stroppy, chippy and spouts off like a 4 letter laden Motivations poster.

I'm not sure he's amazingly popular with the other DS either, they're often off doing stuff together having a laugh on Social Media, but he's never with them.

Anyone else getting a bit annoyed about the amount of crying women? I want to see the best of the best being tested against SAS standards, not an episode of Love Island...

I did think that, the woman who was removed from integration over concerns of her mental health just proved their decision to be correct by the breakdown she had at the decision. I know it must have been really, really tough to get that far and then be withdrawn against your will, but she did cry like a child. Maybe in a couple of years she'll be better equipped to go through the process.

I've always thought that there should be someone (possibly the medic) in whom you can confide.

There have been cases where people have feigned weakness in order to gain sympathy. Someone should be told that the weakness is fake.

Kim (?) doing really well. Getting them to give her the sandwich would have really impressed the DS. Not writing anything down was another.

Shame about the guy with the branch in his eye. I was on a course and the stand-out recruit had something dropped on her foot during a cannon run. She carried on for the rest of the day, but was withdrawn the next morning when she couldn't get her boot on.

Its just the beginning of the end of the show for me. I'll watch this one out, but I don't know that they'll be doing another season anyway. Where can they go? What can they do differently?

Yep, I'm not into this episode at all. The series has lost everything that made it good in the first place.

Yeah - I’m out.
It’s all a bit samey now. Ant just seems to have become a caricature of an ex special forces operator.
I think he’s read his own book a few too many times.

Totally agree. This series has lost its way now, shame.

IIRC, in the first series you didn't even get a handshake if you VW'd. In fact, that was all you got if you passed.

Now you get a kiss and a cuddle for "doing your best" and "making yer mother proud" - fk me!!

So I had a think about what they could do on the next series.

They get back all the people that "passed" the previous series' Split them into 2 teams Alpha and Bravo

Then train them to assault a mocked up Embassy or storm a boat or track some people in the Jungle/Desert.

Basically all the stuff they SAS/SBS actually do once they've passed Selection.

Then decide whose the best

I'd watch that!

Not sure what the plan is for next season but they’re filming on an old base in Australia at the moment.

Saw a pic on Instagram of Ant looking all tough and angry.
