3 month trial courtesy of Sky - already caught up with slow horses.

Finished Legacy - enjoyed a bit of Godzilla action.

Made the mistake of watching Argylle.

Not sure what’s next.
For All Mankind is a must

Would also add the Greyhound film and Masters of the Air (and the documentary for when you’ve finished the series)

All the recommendations above are solid but for me Bad Sisters was the big surprise. I didn’t think it would be my thing at all but I found it extremely entertaining.

Slow Horses, For All Mankind and Blackbird are all exceptional though. Be warned FAM does take a couple of episodes to “get going”, but then…

Ted lasso and the morning show (just the first series) aren’t bad either.

Neither is foundation

Foundation is brilliant if you like sci fi. A close second to The Expanse.

Severance is also very well reviewed. It is properly mental with a whiff of Black Mirror. Falls in to the if you like it, you really like it bracket.

late to the party, but a free 3 month trail -

Constellation - up to ep3 so far, had high hopes, good production values, but given how its edited it lacks suspense for me.....and i get the feeling its all been done before these days with these sorts of sci fi shows.

i'd already finished a lot of things 3 months ago - not much else to watch thats come out between then thats really got my eye.

anyone know when Silo returns?

The Morning Show is another show I misjudged assuming it would be a “kooky” comedy going by the cast. How wrong I was... I took the advice here and haven’t bothered with the later series

The only really duff series is Invasion - I watched the first 4-5 episodes before giving up and should have cut my losses a lot earlier.

Similarly Constellation - I’ve given up after three episodes- it’s intriguing but just too slowly paced…

yeah Constellation, i skipped to the last episode and could figure it out, it wasnt hard in the end and, tbh, has been done before quiet a few times ............. i get the feeling they wanted every episode to contain at least 5 mins of drone footage of the landscape and suspenseful music - it could have been edited into about 4 episodes max.

I assumed the Morning Show was some sort of comedy - is it a drama?

Might take a look when time avails.

Yes it is and definitely worth a go.

There are quite a few comments on here saying the subsequent series are nowhere near as good so I left it after series 1…

Sugar is watchable. Colin Farrell as a private eye.
Manhunt. Worth watching. Drama about the hunt for John Wilkes Booth

The Big Door Prize is back for Season 2. 3 episodes there today and then weekly on Wednesdays.

Season 1 grew on me so I'll definitely be watching this

I just found Sugar today. It's a sort of noir detective thing set in modern times with Colin Farrell up front and centre... but his character isn't quite right. Very mysterious but one of the best things I've watched for a while

I'm up to the latest episode (ep6) now so IYKYK. wink

Two eps to go - weekly drops.

Interested to see how Dark Matter turns out which launches in a couple of days starring Jennifer Connelly and Joel Edgerton. It concerns multiverses and then some.

The book read like the most shameless fish for a film/ TV adapation I've come across in a long time.

The showrunner is the book's author so I guess we'll have an intact vision at least.

It's the only series on Apple TV that I've stuck with beyond the first season.

Hopefully you'll stick with Severance when Season 2 starts....

I quite enjoyed the book (although it’s nowhere near as good as Recursion by the same guy)

First two episodes are quite good. Very close to the novel of course.

Casting, not entirely what I was expecting from the book but not bad.

7/10 so far I’d say.
