I agree yesterday’s episodes were two of the dullest in a while. Trouble is how do you follow Pat Phelan?

When they mentioned Gail’s ‘payday loan’ I was worried, not another social issue! Bring back more humour.

Rosie's heroin/heroine/cocaine "joke" dates back to old chestnuts. Did the writers include it for a bet?

Hold the front page! I've calmed down from seeing Roy in a Motorhead baseball cap, but I really hadn't expected to see Nigel Havers rumbled so early in the storyline. Whither the plot? Why didn't he see Roy in his door mirror?

I'm only half way through the first of tonights episodes, but noted the above, they're hot on the jokes tonight!

Wasn't it a price tag off the shirt? Either way, I'm curious where they're going with Kirks dog training friend storyline. She obviously wants him, but only time shall tell how it plays out.

No I'm aware the tram runs along the skyline hence the big crash years ago but I don't ever recall seeing an actual train station as per Kirky tonight walking out of it and onto the set as tho it was perhaps 100 yards away?

I've never seen a map of the set! Cool. I thought it was coronation street that kept expanding exponentially into an alternate universe. Kevs garage for instance seems endless and now goes through into a new area, and the inside of some terraces are Tardis shaped to allow entire additional families to move in as and when required!
