Weatherfield is huge. Robert had been driving away for about an hour on his wedding day, and still picking up Radio Weatherfield!

Gemma - "I have been on telly before...."

Rosie - "Jeremy Kyle?"

Anyone know the breed of dog that Kirk trains for his fancy woman? Looks like a Briard, but the coat's too short. Otter Hound? Nice dog, whatever it is. Crazy storyline - reasonably pretty and pleasant girl fancies Kirk Sutherland..............

PS Holly Willoughbooby on Corrie - there is a god.

Nice to see the humour and innuendos returning with the 'Good Morning' sketch! Gemma to Philip Schofield: "Ooh, I thought you'd be... err... bigger", Holly Willoughby "They all say that"! Gemma then stuffing her face with eclairs whilst lusting after Schofield - great stuff!

Plus they got it absolutely spot-on with Rosie's new job - hostess for one of those nutty Japanese gameshows. That was genius.

We all agreed (I think) that the cast was too big and needed a cull, but it looks like Nicola is off and possibly Eileen too. Where will this end?

Driving from Aberdeen for Dundee, still get local Aberdeen radio (North Sound) in Dundee 60 miles away.

I mean it's not as though they'd need Anna or Nicola for anything like an inquest into Phelan's violent and premature death is it ? Oh , hold on ...

They will mysteriously attend and then disappear into the great British hinterland, otherwise known as Yorkshire.........

Last night it was interesting that Nicola acknowledged Todd's absence "you've lost Todd" when in fact nobody in the street knows where he is, and whether he will return one day. We know of course, but they don't, so why assume?

I loved Rosie's leaving scene when everyone was trying to give her a hug over her huge pregnancy bump but nobody noticed it in her smock dress! They should do a spin off "Rosie in Japan". Could make a grate comedy show!!

I couldn't work out where I'd seen Kirk's 'stalker' before - and then when I did a search online I found her... Rene Zelweger aka Bridget Jones!

Memo to self. Why settle for a decent man in a decent job when I can have a retard in a dead-end occupation?*

(* albeit a kind,caring and well-meaning retard.....)

I appreciate the article calls her a Renée Zellweger lookalike but let's just say I would have no bother telling them apart smile

I thought last night's episodes were a bit "flat". Probably the writers consolidating a few plotlines. Looks like Nicola and Eileen are going, but you can never really know in soapland.

I wish Eva would pull herself together - time for male viewers to see her in her prime. I'm wondering if the writers are aiming for a PND story.

Would Aaliyah really be willing to take the entire factory saying "It's what Aidan wanted" when he was clearly mentally unstable to the point he killed himself? It seems a complete 180 for her character.

its silly. Johnny just lost his son, after loosing her own dad ud think alyia would have more compassion. I notice the credits still say kate oates at the end. Hopefully new material will be on its way soon as its currently a bit flat.

I wouldn't hold my breath as I said previously the current storylines in Emmerdale are no better.
