JUst had a quick look on sky, there are at least 28 shopping channels, and the presenters are of the same level, don't see why some would think this wouldn't really happen.

Does anyone know if this really went out on live TV? Surely if it had, viewers would immediately see who was left in The Apprentice? Or is it all just a simulation with "pretend" consumers?
I can't help thinking that so much of this show is pretending to be real, when it isn't. Good entertainment though.
Why wouldn't it be live? it happened months ago. Wouldn't be billed as having anything to do with the apprentice and would look like the usual rubbish production.

No different from the public seeing teams flogging things in parts of London - probably a bigger audience and you'd know it was apprentice candidates because of Karen or Claude + film crew!

PS - I saw them filming years ago in Kingston - didn't recognise anyone when it was aired as it was months later.

Think it was the right decision last night, obviously Tom was already well into extra time and no surprise that he went, but I think Jackie shot herself in the foot by talking up her previous successes. If she sold her last company for millions then why come here looking for 250k? She seemed by far the most capable candidate for a long time, but (probably by that very nature) didn't really fit into the ethos of the programme.

And I have to say, each to their own, but I can't really see the appeal of her confused (which I guess is a bit odd as she reminds me of Catherine Ryan, who certainly appeals to me cloud9)

Tom knew he had spent his last card when the team lost.

It seems at the moment everyone is wanting to push themselves forward and its become a lot more dog-eat-dog.

Sabrina (?) the little blonde hottie is my pick to win. lick

EDIT - I knew someone who was on it the other year, all very real and not set up or manufactured for TV. Including the 5am starts!!

Tom was properly thrown under the bus but admittedly he was on borrowed time. I think this is more the reason Jackie was punted than the half oak tree thing - the latter would have been apparent with her application surely?

Sian for me cloud9

Her business is tennis (current business) and Sugar has played tennis once or twice, it looks like twice. With the same partner Jimmy Connors, for charidee probably.

I've only dipped in and out of the thread this year, but why are the 'treats' so st this year? I'd rather go to the Cafe than any of the last few weeks.

Only just caught up, an unusual end to wooden Tom!
Did he not get the walk of shame and taxi cab interview then?

Jackie came across well I thought and probably was outside the "apprentice" program itself having already made money so on a hiding to nothing.

The TV selling part was cringeworthy at best, real horror show. Claude was on fire with the facial expressions this week lol. Decent entertainment for what it is. Want to know more about their proposals now.

Awful this week

Jackie being fired and Khadija staying just showed how little credibility it has left as a genuine competition.

I had no idea Camilla was only 22 and a "novice". She must have had a hard paper round lol. I'd put her as a 30 something mum perhaps.
