Why was Scott's sorbet ok, but Adam's wasn't?
Adam's sorbet must have had more sugar or alcohol content than Scott's, which affects the freezing point. Your explanation does though.

I dont like the way I typed the word Bit ching and it auto changed it to censored. A pity really, this is a mature forum and we should be able to use the vernacular. Nanny state PH !
Agreed, wonder if you can use the word on the Creatures Great and Small section? That's where all the doggie people are. garyhun said:

Agreed . At some stage in 2014 I have to take Mrs Garyhun to the Hand & Flowers in Marlow his pub for a wonderful meal. Seems the most down to earth and without the wooden spoon so far up his own arse.
She assures me that she has booked something so I just hope it is his place.

For a man with integrity like Roux, food will always come before television.
He has been using these potatoes for a decade and has a close relationship with the farmers, did the BBC really expect him to compromise his restaurant quality and turn his back on long standing friends? The idiots.
I applaud his morals but will miss him on the TV. One of the few truly knowledgable, watchable presenters amongst a sea of dross.
The other stations will be fighting over him.

My girlfriend was at one of the Cactus Kitchens cooking days with him yesterday (she said it was an amazing experience!). The news broke during the morning and he was talking about it with the group. He was genuinely disappointed with the BBC but was very clear that he is a chef first and a TV person second.
He will be missed on those programs and hopefully he goes on to do some other non BBC work.

BBC breakfast "news" always has some celeb on promoting a book/album etc.
Andrew Marr had Paloma Faith on pushing her new album.
They show the RBS sponsored Rugby.
Need I go on?
Hypocrites and small minded twallops!
Every single SIARPC on Top Gear is plugging something too. Week in, week out...Andrew Marr had Paloma Faith on pushing her new album.
