Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish's BBC6 shows used to all be on the old player radio app, not sure where they ended up since the move to Sounds?

Classic radio!
I have them all saved on a hard drive somewhere, just in case the internet closes down one day smile

I'm really enjoying the Band of Brothers podcast, featuring interviews with the cast, writers and producers. The host is a bit gushing over the guests and has a very 'Clarkson' style of delivery, but it's not enough to put me off.

Casefile # 76 Silk Road is the story of how Ross Ulbricht set up and operated a site on the dark web and became the Dread Pirate Roberts, selling everything from magic mushrooms to guns and trying to stay one step ahead of US law enforcement.

Along with the East Area Rapist/Original Night Stalker/Golden State Killer episodes, these made Casefile what it is today. Genius work. The EARONS episodes were unsolved when they came out and they made me re-instate my home security!

I must have listened to this 5 times or more and was just talking about it again with someone yesterday. We both agreed it was time for another airing.

Similar story about a guy called Paul Le Roux who set up illegal internet pharmacies. Evan Ratliff wrote a book about it called The Mastermind.

Who the Hell is Hamish is also excellent. Series about an Australian conman.

‘Hooked’ About a Boeing engineer who robbed 30 banks in a year and ended up a heroin addict. All whilst still working for Boeing . An amazing story, funny /sad in equal measures

Some that I listened to a while ago, all good, probably still available.

Mortem. Mortician Carla Valentine takes you from the mortuary to the crime scene to find out how the bodies end up on her slab.

Manhunt, finding Kevin Parle. Retired copper searches for notorious UK drug dealer.

End of Days. The story of David Koresh's cult in Waco. (Spoiler, it didn't end well.)

The Case of Charles Dexter Ward by H P Lovecraft..... Spooky !

And the subsequent H P Lovecraft stories by Mystery Machine. Equally spooky !! Best listened to on noise cancelling headphones. biggrin

Tumanbay. 4 series so far
"A historical fantasy radio drama. The story is set in Tumanbay, the capital of a fictional empire, and involves political intrigue. Both a supernatural force and political unrest threaten the city. The setting is inspired by the Mamluk slave dynasty of Egypt."

Paradise.

Wow - What a story - I'd watched a netflix doc. about Purdue pharma a while back, but hearing an individuals story that could pretty well be any one of us 'average PH'ers' and just how low his life sunk + how it effects his family - sickening.

...'Over the counter drugs' eek

Must admit had to pause doing the washing up on Monday due to laughing at Smith and Sniff absolutely ripping the piss out of "bell ends on Pistonheads who use the term pull the trigger."

Such spot on observations, utter wk handles indeed.

Actually I wondered what S&S would say about FTK in the leasing thread. Mind boggling that one.
