90% of what I watch is either on Netflix or recorded so I can skip the add.. thank god, but when watching kids TV with the smallest, the ads really grateful. All terrible acting, stupid dancing and waving the product about, and terrible dubbing, I hate them all!
or the Clarke's shoes add with a bunch of smug Sylvia Young 'esque schoolkinds singing a depressing tune. Beyond annoying. Can't remember what it's advertising but the one with the East Asian family whose baby is scared of their dog until the dad dresses the dog up as a lion. Can't help feel they should ditch the wailing brat and treat the poor dog a bit better. In fact, send the dog over to me instead, I'll make sure it's looked after properly.

I cant help but wonder why the kids is alright with what looks, at first glance like a massive, deadly, predatory feline, rather than a standard mutt ?Whats next, doesnt like the cat, dress it up as the Freddie Kreuger ?

I like the way the Nissan X Trail advert now has a 'don't try this at home' warning, for all those who were just about to take their kids sledging on a volcano then race them to mum in the family SUV.
I've only seen that one once so far - was wondering if I had dreamt it.Antony Moxey said:

What is it with the advert showing the chap being released from prison, his quest to find work, the interview and the moment he tells his estranged wife and their child, only to then find he didn't make it to his first day because of arthritis. WTF?
I zone out during half the ad breaks and completely missed the getting out of prison bit of this.Agree that it's a load of irrelevant flannel to the ad subject.

I honestly think they took an advert about something else (prison rehabilitation & the benefit of work maybe?) then did the bare minimum to use it for arthritis instead.

On one hand I can't stand the Admiral adverts, especially the Pratts Bottom one. On the other I find the Admiral lady very easy on the eye which is probably what they are trying to accomplish.
MILF, or should that be AILF?* a Google image search for 'female admirals' defines small as tending towards zero...
Has anyone noticed that the Schweppes Tonic Water ad with the impossibly smug Frenchman telling us we are all "amateeeeuurs" seems to have abruptly vanished from our screens almost as soon as it appeared?
I wonder if they did some screen testing and found everyone else wanted to punch him as much as I did?
