I don't watch a lot of stuff these days that actually makes me laugh out loud - but this did.

Like vintage Kay, it's very well-observed with the occasional cracking one-liner. The music and radio ads alone would be reason enough to watch it, for me.

Totally lovely and I have a bit of a crush on. I could disappoint her for more minutes than she might like to offer!
Really enjoyed the programme but can't see her appeal at all!

Loved it, especially with Kenny Dalglish Senior delivering the killer line...

Watched a couple and it is lovely, low key, gentle, Peter Kay humour, this is one of those slow growing things that will turn into a hit. I think sometimes he is seen as the "Garlic Bread" guy but he is a genius, his observational comedy is perfection, nobody does it as well as he does and he does not, by any standards outstay his welcome on tv, little and not very often.

The girl in Car Share is perfection as well, very well chosen as the slightly annoying girl we could all imagine working with, with a hint of left field attractiveness as well.

They were all available on iplayer ahead of transmission on BBC, as a promotion. They were removed around the same time that the first episode was aired.

Is it something to do with digital rights nonsense? I recorded the first two episodes of Ordinary Lies from Sky 'catch up' and they all expired from my planner, whereas the recordings of ep3 onwards from the regular weekly broadcast don't. Driving people to piracy again...

I think it was to encourage people to try iPlayer who wouldnt ordinarily have tried it.

I think it's more to do with general BBC nonsense.

Someone at the BBC thinks they are being very clever by putting things on iPlayer before they are on TV and then removing them when it's screened on TV. Doesn't seem very clever to me.

This is brilliant, me and the missus watched all six in one go when they were on I player, and have recorded the two episodes broadcast so far, observational comedy at its very best and probably the funniest thing we have watched since Fawlty Towers.
Each time we watch we spot something new, did any one else spot the road sign on episode one, 'Brazillans while you wait' great stuff.

All 6 episodes are on youtube, they're in a bit of a strange screen size but I watched them all last night. Loved it, loads of really funny as well as quite poignant moments. Loved Sian Gibson, never seen her before but thought she was brilliant and very funny (the 'drunk' episode where she is explaining her silly 'Lady Diana' party game had me in stiches!). Dunno whether i'd want them to make another series though, thought this one ended quite nicely. smile

Typical simple jokes from Peter Kay.

The delivery however is absolutely perfect. rofl
