te. Annoying, overrated, nowhere near as clever as it thinks it is, total excrement from start to end. Sickeningly horrible film with zero redeeming features. Predictable, formulaic, overly styled doggerel. The worst film of all time, and I include Daddy Day Camp in that.

That's how I feel about Reservoir Dogs.te. Annoying, overrated, nowhere near as clever as it thinks it is, total excrement from start to end. .I'm going to add Hunt for the Wilder People, it'll get me kicked out of NZ. But it was just boring.
The thing that makes it worse is anything by Taika Waititi over here is automatically given 5 stars by critics, regardless of how bad it is. Thor 3 got 5 stars, despite being a solid 3.5. The only remotely clever film hes done is What we do in the Shadows.
And the only thing that made Boy watchable was because of local stereotypes about maori people.

I think most of his work is great, maybe a bit too much humour in Thor but it's not exactly an art film.And the only thing that made Boy watchable was because of local stereotypes about maori people.
And to be fair the reviews overseas are generally in line with those NZ reviews, Rotten Tomatoes has Wilderpeople at 97%, Boy at 87%, Shadows at 96%, Thor at 92%. Even the Aussie reviewers agree.
