There is no sex appeal this year, no chance of flirting amongst the contestants, and I think that’s a shame. There must be a few younger, single people or recently single people they could throw in there.....? It does make things a bit spicy.

Yes, we said the same.I know very little about her (or her family), but apparently she only came out publicly in 2015 and had the surgery a couple of years later. I imagine living 65 years as a bloke results in some pretty ingrained habits.

Definitely past its sell-by date, unless they can think of new ideas. There's no tension any more - the contestants know what to expect in the way of trials. It's always collect stars from water/tunnels full of critters or eat something nasty. Seems the organisers have run out of fresh ideas. Until the celebrities get faced with something strange or startling they are not going to be tense and afraid, which adds to argument and disharmony.Feels like the show is winding down to an end when it's still got longer to run.
Normally the hunger causes interesting tiffs, but the contestants are nearly always achieving most of the starsin the trials, and eating reasonably well. Plus surely they all realise that they are not going to die - there will be experienced staff watching every move looking for signs of danger and I suspect the scorpions have had their venom removed.
