Impressive fight scenes. Everything else is rubbish.
Really disappointed in it. Looked like it could be great in the trailer but it was just fight scenes some how linked together. Completely lost what was supposed to be happening.

Agreed that it’s a bit rubbish, but I’m still quite enjoying it in a weird way

Just finished season 2 of Dark

OMG, its the best thing on Netflix in my opininion. I've watched some good series on Netflix, breaking bad, better call Saul, narcos, stranger things and many others but I think Dark tops them all.

Yes, the dubbing is annoying as it's originally in German, and it's really hard to follow, it was really hard to work out who was who in the different time frames, but WOW, it's well worth persevering with. 10/10
OMG just change it to subtitles!!!
We might need to persevere with it. Finished season 1 but didn't plan on season 2. Found it stunning to look at, but hard to follow and the dubbing really takes away from the drama

Season 2 is better than season 1 which I found a bit slow to get going. There's a good cliffhanger which hints at an interesting season 3...

A 20% hike in subs from next month. OK, it's only £12 but still.

Honestly, do people not realise you can just change the dubbing to subtitles on Netflix???

Just finished One Strange Rock.

As science docos go, I thought it was great and a bit different to the norm, I'm glad I gave it a go.

Will Smith as narrator was a little jarring at first but he's not actually narrating as much as I thought he would be - that's down to the astronauts, who are fascinating. Actually enjoyed Will Smith's commentary by the end too.

You do get a feeling by the last episode of how special our planet is and how mind blowing and ultimately sad it is for the astronauts that not many share their world view.
Saw this a while back and really enjoyed it, very original and some breathtaking footage. 8.9 on IMDB too yet seems to have slipped under the radar and Netflix make no effort in advertising this

The budget for murder mystery was $100 million alone so they need to pay for it somehow.

I am enjoying it, and it's got Lagatha from vikings in it.

Never got a chance to see this on iPlayer when it first came out on the BBC, but I just watched both series of Happy Valley over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sarah Lancaster is a brilliant lead and I really like her character; i think I’ve got a bug for bleak UK cop dramas now.

Try Hinterland then.

And not UK based but Top of The Lake is apparently good and gritty too.

It's got a lot wrong with it. I enjoyed it a lot, but there is much room for improvement. I felt that some time about mid way through that the story had changed to something else and that the Wu Assassin was just another character.

Good cast though.

If it's bleak you're after, there ain't much bleaker than 'Red Riding: The Year of Our Lord 1974' the first of the Red Riding trilogy, which is still one of my all time favourites (not on netflix though).

Just watching The Family, 3 episodes in. Very interesting insight into the separation of church and state in the US, or lack thereof.
