The Red Turtle

Won't appeal to some people as it's an animation, has no dialogue and is kinda slow but it's a really lovely bit of animation with a nice, touching storyline and very easy to watch. I found it fascinating and surprisingly emotional. Worth a watch.

Mozart in the Jungle has returned. Stellar first couple of seasons but has dwindled in the same way Red Oaks did. Still I much prefer this low-fi style of humour compared to Brooklyn 99 and the other Netflix type shows.

Eagerly awaiting The Patriot and The Bureau follow ups.

Looking forward to that. Wasn't so keen on series 3 but loved 1 and 2.

I've been doing the same, on episode 5 at the moment. From what I've been told its a slow burn but starts to get really good.

The Looming Tower Jeff Daniels-fronted story of the 2 year lead up to the attach on the twin towers, focused on the rise of Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda and the bickering between the US security agencies. First 3 episodes are out now; really really good.

There is certainly a lot of content that is sub-youtube quality.

In other Amazon Video news, I have recently been binge watching 'Castle', a series that had previously passed me by. Other than the final season (where they come up with ever more implausible reasons for the main stars not to share screen time), it is amusing enough as a modern day 'Murder She Wrote'.

Last time I checked there were about a dozen crappy 9/11 conspiracy documentaries & about another 20 or so alien abduction ones.
