Matthew Kelly.... Pretty much the king of Saturday night entertainment and game shows for 25 years then vanished.

A few mins on Google says:

In 2003 was accused, and completely cleared, of child sex abuse allegations.

He then disappeared.

He then reappeared in 2005 to take on a serious acting role as a child murdering paedophile in the mini-series Cold Blood.

He then disappeared again, and has spent the last 10 years in serious acting roles on stage in theatres, and has recently started to appear in the odd bit of TV again.

My recollection is he had disappeared well before the allegations.

Sorry about the awful quality.

I remember watching the Frank Skinner / Matthew Kelly interview in the wake of Kelly being cleared and it was compulsive viewing.

Skinner realises very quickly that the curly haired, light entertainment Kelly has been replaced with a 6'5", shaven headed giant of a chap who isn't best pleased with him. Skinner actually seemed a little scared.

He was still the host of ‘Stars in their eyes’ and ‘After they were famous’ at the time of his arrest, so still very much a fixture of Saturday night TV.

Wow.

Incredibly awkward, and yes, Skinner actually looks worried.

Not as funny to say someone looks like a paedophile when they are sat right in front of you is it?

The other one is Claire Goose. Very pretty girl, I last saw her in Waking The Dead, I think. scratchchin
Marking time in some daytime police procedural, like Doctors only with more death.

Married to Paul Coia, who I've also not seen on TV for a relatively long time.
He seems to live in the cupboard at STV, because he's been wheeled out to do the hogmanay mess a few times, but nothing much else.

Regarding Chris Packham, he is somebody who has always struck me as being on the spectrum somewhere.
That’s hardly a secret. There was a whole programme about his mental health challenges.
Or even a couple of posts above in this thread.
He is also an ambassador for the national autistic society. I think as people on the autism spectrum go, he could do little more to advertise the fact he has autism!
About the only thing extra he could do is write an autobiography, which he did.

The odious Skinner is one person I'd pay good money to see
being punched into unconsciousness by a rather pissed off Kelly.

Lee Mack was mentioned somewhere earlier on in this thread.
I recently binged watched him in Semi Detached, which is really rather good.

Can't disagree with you on that thought.

I did enjoy how much Kelly was loving making him squirm. Though to be fair to Skinner, he did at least stand by/take ownership of what he said.

I'm going to say something possibly cruel and a little unfair now, but hey ho.

I saw her in something recently, I can't remember for the life of me what it was, but it doesn't seem to be on her IMDB.

The Inbetweeners was 12 years ago and none of us as as good looking as we were 12 years ago. I didn't recognise her at first.
Speak for yourself, mate. I've ALWAYS had a face like the wrong end of a dog.

Might have been Casualty as she was in it a couple of years ago.

I don't think I'd class her as randomly disappeared so much as just retired.

Gee, that's a rarity these days, a TV celeb who has a normal sized ego and is happy to retire from public view.

Shame really, I quite liked Leary as a stand-up, and although he tended to overact his part, “Rescue Me”, the TV series in which he played a firefighter in NYC, who kept seeing and talking to his cousin Jimmy, who died at the WTC in 9/11 was always worth a watch.

He was also good in The Thomas Crown Affair.. He was also really good in the Holsten Pils commercials.

Jeremy Kyle - Has gone completely silent since what happend last year

Dave Benson Phillips - Has been a child entertainer for years. I remember the rumour that he had passed away greatly upset him.
