Paco Rabanne, pile of st, and this is in the knowledge that the worst ads on telly are, have been, always fragrance ads. Christ these people are stuck in thr 70s.
For some reason perfume and after shave ads corner the market in attempts at 'arty' imagery. And fail miserably. The Savage one with Johnny Depp driving a Challenger. What a wker.
Yes, terrible adverts, but they work. People think they have, or will get, filmstar looks from a 50p bottle of liquid. Bit tragic. Gross profit margin on male / female scents can be as high as 95%.

Gohhh Argos.

Such an irritating voice - makes me want to buy something I don't want from Amazon to spite them. How are they still in business anyway?
But I like that at least it is Caroline Flack attached to that voice, and she's quite nice looking and every so often, appears in the papers without any clothes on "accidentally"
I hate to be the one to break it to you, but if you mean the Argos ad voiceovers, that's not Caroline Flack, it's actually Miquita Oliver

https://www.adforum.com/talent/41697554-miquita-ol...
As you can tell, I did not know that. But it is fine, I used to quite fancy Miquita Oliver when she was on channel 4 on a Sunday morning, I expect she still looks good but she doesn't get in the paper.

cheers for the enlightening post!

"Think of our furniture as a big ship"
No thanks. I think of it as hideously overpriced slabs of crap
"Well a ship needs a sale"

The harsh truth for a 47 year old actress whose career probably peaked over 10 years ago - yes. The world is a hard hard place and adverts pay well.

Plys she's got a occasional TV work and people still recognise her so it could be a lot worse.

The whole idea that they take them home to test them for us mere consumers.

I’d like to add the work ‘nothingk’ for an honourable mention if I may.

i've just seen an advert for some stty Z-list retailed with Jedward in it. They were famous for about 5 minutes about 5+ years ago, and weren't really featured in an ironic way. I guess the shop have been waiting for their fee to come down under budget.

You certainly may and I raise you "hospikal" and "free" when referring to an integer greater than two and less than four.
