There is certainly a lot of content that is sub-youtube quality.
In other Amazon Video news, I have recently been binge watching 'Castle', a series that had previously passed me by. Other than the final season (where they come up with ever more implausible reasons for the main stars not to share screen time), it is amusing enough as a modern day 'Murder She Wrote'.
Loved Castle. Nathan Fillion is great! In other Amazon Video news, I have recently been binge watching 'Castle', a series that had previously passed me by. You're right though, last series was crap. The tension and intrigue in the earlier ones was very good. Viewed as a whole, I think it's decent.

Is it me or is Amazon filled with crappy web series & old fashioned pr0n?
Just you as my recommendations are based upon what ive previously watched and in a similar theme. If you stopped watching old fashioned porn then you wouldnt get the suggestions - i didnt even know Porn was on Amazon.Hap and Leonard is back out again but looks to be a week by week series so will binge watch it at some point.
Currently Watching Ray Donovan

Sneaky Pete season 2 is absolutely superb. Really.
Yup, totally agree. Enjoyed it just as much as the first one.I have also been watching unReal, another series chosen entirely at random. On reading the imdb synopsis "A behind-the-scenes look at the chaos surrounding the production of a dating competition program.", I wasn't sure I'd like it but, I ended up bingeing the first 6 episodes in an afternoon!
Plenty of eye candy too :-)

I watched a few episodes of the first series of Sneaky Pete and in the end stopped, when it dawned on me that I wasn't enjoying it. Main reason, nothing much happened (apart from Bryan Cranston indulging himself with a long and quite unnecessary monologue).
The only thing that stops my suspension of disbelief is the fact that the Grandpa is supposed to have a history of being some kind of tough guy and I just can't see it. Other than that, I really enjoyed it - with the bonus that Marin Ireland is very easy on the eye (weird crush maybe?)Speckle said:

Anyone watched 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel'? A comedy drama about a perfect jewish housewife whose husband leaves her and she stumbles on to a stage and turns out she is pretty great at stand up comedy.
Lenny Bruce is a character in it, Tony Shaloub is in it, the girl who is the lead is great. Plus she gets her boobs out in the first episode, if you need a bit of a push to give it a go![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)
(I am reliably informed by the OH they are a pretty magnificent pair!![eek](/inc/images/eek.gif)

TBF the film's are there when I look at the entire section, not as recommended ones. Still loads of crap though.

I've only ever watched Lucifer and the Grand Tour, so I reckon their algorithms are a bit wonky,or I just get offered the average of other viewers ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

I imagine the more you watch the better the recommended section gets for you as it can profile you.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

Currently working my way through Bosch (fairly standard US cop show, but nicely made, and very watchable).
Also enjoy Life in Pieces, and Lucifer.
And of course, The Grand Tour.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
I think Bosch is great. I want his house. And there's a new story/series starting in April. Also enjoy Life in Pieces, and Lucifer.
And of course, The Grand Tour.
