Series 4 has appeared on UK Netflix.. But not the previous 3 series?... you can find these on Sky Max

Started watching the first series on my Netflix in France last week.

An Aeroplane takes off in 2013 and lands in 2018 with all the discombobulation that would entail.
The surviving passengers develop supernatural complications.
Easy enough watch and quite entertaining.
I'm not sure I finished series 1. Somebody on here told me about a Turkish spin-off about a submarine. That was bloody hard work too.
Watched the first series. I didn’t think it was up to much.

The Watcher

I'm late to the party but I really enjoyed this. Binged it in fact.

Based on a true story and made by the people behind American Horror Story, it has a 1990's horror/Twilight/whodunnit vibe to it.

I liked the Lynch/Naomi Watts reunion, the references to Parasite and the obvious 'American Gothic' visuals/narrative in places. All of which lifted it above the usual Netflix dross.

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6Q7PySEFuo

Creepy and cleverly done. But. so. much. knitwear!

Not an absolute must see, but very much recommended if you're flicking for something to watch. 7.75/10

Not sure if it has been mentioned but Drive to Survive - the latest series of the F1 programme.

I binge watched this yesterday.

I am not an F1 fan - although I did go to two last year (Barcelona for son's 21st and a dad/son trip to Abu Dhabi - he is a fan)

I do think this is very watchable due to the way that Netflix put it together and tells a different story in every episode. Yes, of course there are many elements of false drama and over-egging the situation, but for me, in the same way I would never watch Countryfile but loved Clarkson's farm, I think Drive to Survive is an excellent watch even if you don't know your DRS from your FTX.

Leave your adenoidals in the pit lane.

Struggled with this season, not entirely surprising considering I struggled with the actual season.

Was never going to live up to last season.

Ok, so I'm cheating; I know the new film isn't out on netflix until next week, but in anticipation I've decided to rewatch all of the seasons on iplayer.

They really don't make TV like this anymore. It really is very very good, far better than you remember and well worth the revisit.

9.5/10

We Have a Ghost - No.1 on Netflix films. I'm not sure how they rank them but it's probably the number of people who start it.
Black Family buy a run down house, it has a ghost, they video the Ghost and it becomes viral.
Potentially an interesting idea, pitched as a comedy/horror but the 40 minutes we watched were neither funny or scary, pretty much the whole family are dreadful and other characters are clichés (quirky girl next door?) . We gave up.
You gave up too early. Characters really turn around, turns into a charming film. A bit cheesy perhaps for some, but it really was a nice film with a touching end.

I'm really struggling with Netflix, the offerings are just tripe.

It went from around a 4/10 to a whole 5/10 by the end, for me. My family enjoyed it at least.

I'm struggling with new stuff to watch on Netflix so I've started bojack horseman again. Still genuinely brilliant and probably one of my favourite series ever.

My wife really can't get past the cartoon horse being the main character though.

I couldn't really get much past S04E11, great as it was, as the way the series were going just started getting a bit too much and I needed something lighter.

Another vote for Physical 100. Half way through it.

Yeah, it is heavy, but that is my taste I guess. Depressing but heartfelt biggrin

It doesn't really get much lighter after that point tbh, but it does have a good ending.

I also liked Flake, which also has Will Arnett in, which is a similar kind of vibe

Good call.

The cars are ace!

And as a few have said above - at the moment Netflix has little for me.. so this passed an evening.

I'd agree with this, good ending, slight twist at the end.
Also like the guy who played the ghost...last seen playing a miller Santa in Violent Night

Don't Look Up

Starring Professor DiCaprio, US President Streep and Winslet. Following discovery of a monster asteroid heading for earth, this movie shows the stupidity of US citizens when told they have 6 months before collision. Yes, a mediocre comedy but it's 2 hours 18 minutes of my life I won't get back.

I'll save viewers wasting their time by breaking the rule about Spoilers but in this case, the Asteroid strikes earth and couldn't happen soon enough.

2 / 10 - a steaming turd of a movie.
Avoid. No Oscars or Baftas for this one.

Correction - Cate Blanchet not Winslet. Sorry, It was late.

It's a fun film.

Winslet isn't in it.
