Just watched your new 981 Boxster vid.... good stuff
Sounded good too!
However what do you reckon between a £30k V8 Vantage 4.3 and something like the boxster, or more appropriately in this case a 981 Cayman..... where would your £30k+ go if running costs were a mere man-maths session away from being irrelevant? Would a 997.1 feature as a third option? Talking smiles per mile here....
Interested to hear after seeing your extensive experience of each!
I'd be tempted by a TVR at that money...Just watched your new 981 Boxster vid.... good stuff

Problem with the £30k Vantage is last year it was a £20k Vantage and I can see them going back to being that
Tuscan does appeal..... £40ish for a good one though!!
Sat and watched a few videos last night which I haven't done in a while.
Really like Shmee's SF90 spec, think the interior will look especially nice.
Can't say I'm too convinced about his plans for the garage though.. maybe it's just the way I'm visualising it but the racing grid on the floor and Nordschleife mural on the back wall just sounds a bit too busy to me.

Despite owning a couple of Griffiths, the 400SE itch remains.

Posting on page 458 the day I bought a Ferrari 458 spider.
Boys, I do believe we’re in the matrix.
Custard? Boys, I do believe we’re in the matrix.
Congrats on the car. 458's are special cars imo.

Referring back to the case history, Plato vs. Some Tit on Pistonheads, the rules are simple; it can be any type of custard receptacle - packet, tin, carton - but you need a photo of the car, with the custard container placed upon it. Those are the rules, I don't make them up.

It would be better if actually got on with it, endless videos on the plans but no action.Really like Shmee's SF90 spec, think the interior will look especially nice.

He has done nothing with place in the time since he moved in.
Not convinced that it is not going to end a mess full of ebay tat to be honest.

To be fair, have you tried getting large steelworks sorted recently? The office and mezzanine metal/glass work was ordered months ago, but there’s a huge delay. That needs to be in before the rest can really take shape. He has done nothing with place in the time since he moved in.

The shmee defenders didn't stay away long
Not defending (nothing to defend, is there?), just giving a factual reply. I asked Tim the same question last week. That was his reply. Edited by Beefmeister on Friday 24th September 20:08
