21 (Kevin Spacey and some smart kids take on Vegas)

fking terrible, laughable in places but not for the right reasons.
Words 'Spacey' and 'kids'in the same sentence is always scary.
Why is that then?

Anyway, I didn't think 21 was that bad when I saw it. About 10 years ago.
In case you you've been under a rock for the past 2 years or so, he felt up a 14 year old boy and admitted it, well, didn't deny it.

Difficult to take him seriously now, watching any of his films. I didn't particularly like him anyway, so it's nothing lost for me.
The teenager was 14, and claimed Spacey climbed on top of him drunk and "made a pass". In 1986. Spacey can't remember it, and stated so. It's the internet so I guess you think you can say what you like - but insinuating someone is a paedophile and involved with kids (plural) because you don't like them is pretty dumb.
I'm not insinuating hes a paedophile because I dont like him. Thanks for running through that little story, I didn't realise you were there and acting as his lawyer.

According to you I can force myself on a 14 year old boy, but its okay because if I "can't remember it" but say that if it did happen I'm sorry everything is fine. Because it happened so long ago.

You really are an arse.

One of the best things about You is that everybody has clear motivation for what they do. Establishing motivation is something that writers often have a problem with, sometimes going so far as to have a crazy person as the antagonist so that they don't have to explain their actions.

There's also the interesting ethical questions that arise from the plot.

Excellent stuff, watched S1 when it came out and have just re-watched it before starting on S2.
Are you a sucker for a sociopathic narcissist too? wink

Motivation maybe. But he’s also convincing you he’s justified with his narration. It’s very clever. I quite fancy him.

I'm not saying he's guilty or innocent - however an allegation does not a guilty person make

Hellfest - bunch of teens visit a haunted house and get stalked by a knife-wielding killer. Admittedly it sounds like dozens of other z-grade horror films, but this one is better than most as it feels like the people who made it are fans of the genre.

Last Days on Mars - decent sci-fi horror, nothing original but moves at a swift pace and makes good use of its limited budget. A lot of mumbled dialogue though, meaning I had to turn the volume way up in parts.

Has a law been passed that all intro music must now contain a cellist and be as legally close as possible to GoT?

S2 of you is great. The last 30 secs are silly and not needed, but can’t think of a show where you go from like/hate/pity/cheer for/fear the same characters within a couple of episodes of each other. 9/10.
Agree weren't sure where they were going to go after S1 but did very well

Watched 6 Underground - was OK as background noise but not great.
However, I did really like one of the music tracks and have now discovered Bishop Briggs - worth it for that.

Going in Style. Not exactly original, no great surprises, but entertaining enough tale of 3 old boys doing a bank robbery in New York. Worth a watch but not a memorable film.

I'm not sure I would say brilliant. I would use the word average. I'm being generous with 6/10 as I think 5/10 is perhaps a bit too tight.

Love Travellers, love sci-fi in general really but especially most things to do with time travel, find it a fasinating subject. Although having said that, it is no 12 Monkeys biggrin

agreed - apart from I don't think it Netflix should have billed it as a comedy. Although I do like my humour on the dark side.

Just giving 'The invention of lying' a try.

Looks interesting from the review
Although perhaps telegraphed in 1989..."If the real Jesus Christ were to stand up today
He'd be gunned down cold by the C.I.A." smile
