Long Shot (2019)

Pretty good Seth Rogan film, had me laughing most of the way through.

Watched episode 1 of 'You' last night.

Slightly in love with the stalked lady. Worth watching the rest?
I started You yesterday too. Really enjoying it.
Are you watching S1 or S2? Worth watching from S1 to be honest to get a background/make sense.
Yup. Just finished s1 and thought it was OK. A story about some very fked up people with fked up relationships rather than stalking.

Will start s2 tomorrow.

I have finished S2 of Lost in Space

It was OK but felt rushed towards the end, of which implied S3 is on the cards.

I think the days of these American series' finishing when they should are long gone

Frustratingly correct, absolutely hate the way pretty much anything from the US that has promise is just cynically extended to keep the gravy train rolling. In the end I rarely finish a series nowadays. Currently on e6 of messiah and wondering whether to bother with the rest.

My Friday nights are spent watching the very British 'The Thick of It' over and over which ended at the perfect time

slipped under most peoples radar - those two (oddly) and some really believable chemistry. 7.9/10

As for JW3 - it was not great but for me saved by the parkor killer dogs - best dogs kicking ass scene till Brad Pitts pit bull took out the Manson killers.

Finished Messiah. Enjoyed it. Very intriguing. No second series confirmed yet. I liked how it ended.

I knew I recognised the Preacher Felix in Texas - quite far removed from the character Braga he played in Fast and Furious 6!

Without opening the spoiler... that’s good to hear, I’ll pick up the rest of the episodes over the coming week.

Sadly I wasted hours on this crap, I was fully committed as the story plays out but for series 1 you can watch the first 2 and last 2 episodes and know the story.
I started on series 2 but it’s just hook hook hook with no substance at all. I’m annoyed I got suckered in.

Watching the first few episodes of After Life (Ricky Gervais). It may well just be a combination of my puerile sense of humour and the fact that his character shares so many of my traits but there are some laugh out loud moments and generally it is most amusing biggrin

Have now watched all 3 seasons and it's awesome. I think it's jumped ahead of Dark in my list of all time favourite Netflix series.

Without giving anything away, I hope there's a season 4 based on the teaser at the end of the last episode

I found a reboot of Monkey from the 70s, it took me right back to when I watched the original series as a child. Sandy the sea monster is a lot better looking. biggrin

So, upon googling it, it seems no season 4, which is a real shame because it was a well scripted, well acted, thought provoking and cerebral drama.

That said, at least the 3 seasons do conclude with a satisfying ending. I suppose some great things should just stand alone and not be milked ad infinitum
