Upon seeing the Channel 4 "climate crisis" advert for the first time, my first thought was how that passed the standards test.
This ^^^^. Sorry to use a real old man word but it is utterly disgraceful, especially as they seem to be showing it at any time they fancy including when I am eating my dinner.
But environment, mkah?
It ain't going to be balanced
I sent a viewer complaint about that disgusting trailer to Channel 4 this afternoon and received the following reply this evening:
"Thank you for contacting Channel 4 Viewer Enquiries.

Crikey , what sensitive , easily offended souls . It was meant to make a splash , get people talking - that's the point. Or is the fact that the lizard people who run the world and have made up climate change are behind it ? Eek.
Maybe that's the problem; they try to make a splash and further infantilise an already pantomime-level debate rather than treat it like the important subject it is.LARK F1 GTR said:

Verisure. Three women badly photoshopped onto a video of a real cinema audience.
Yep, true to form, another terrible advert from them! But overall another fine* acting performance.

"I've just taken out a Sunlife policy."
Oh, congratulations!"
Or seemingly continually sitting at the kitchen table reviewing their policy. What for? It's term insurance, a fixed payment for a fixed payout over a fixed period. There's nothing to review, unless one has the memory of a goldfish.Oh, congratulations!"

I thought it funny myself until you spot the daft premise. He's staying in a hotel and using their eating facilities / restaurant, why would he need his own baked beans? Was he going to ask them to heat them up for him?
He was crying because he had to resort to using the hotel restaurant, perhaps. Not saying it's a good advert but...
