Netflix reveals "The Crown" viewing figures

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-5119...

I imagine that world wide it is doing enough to justify the money spent on it.

Hopefully so, I've nearly finished series 3, brilliant bit of TV. Really enjoyed it, the show focused on prince philip was the stand out episode.
Really looking forward to series 4.

The IT Crowd binged & finished last night.

Excellent!!! One or two eps a bit meh but overall very very funny, a few had me crying:

The wheel chair/barman ep was fantastic, and Peter File. Douglas at the funeral, coffee over the tramp!! laughlaughlaugh
The episode at the theatre really is hilarious. Funny enough, when I joined Netflix years back, I binged IT Crowd also and know what you mean regarding a coupld of eps here and there are a bit meh.

Currently watching Suburra on Netflix, came across it looking for something else smile

Basic synopsis, several criminal elements are trying to secure a piece of valuable real estate from the Catholic church.

TV series is good, it was a spin off from a film which isn't as good but worth watching for completeness of the storyline. The film's plot is set after the TV series, so watching them in that order helps.

IMO the series is nearly as good as Gomorrah and one of the best on Netflix

The film is not quite to that level but still worth a watch, the head of the gypsy family is one nasty fker

Just started watching Bad Guys (Korean series) and am really enjoying it. 3 crims let out to catch a serial killer.

The Aaron Hernandez documentary. That is one strange and cold guy who seemingly had it all.

I suspect that brain area had been pulped into submission after 10+ years of playing American Football.

Binged it over the weekend with the OH, was an interesting story not particularly well told - it jumped around a lot for no particularly logical reason, and considering his widow was unaware I'm not sure if outing him as bisexual really added much to the show. Only 3 episodes so worth a watch, but it never really gets into his mind - disappointing considering the title of it. After finishing it I'm still none the wiser as to a motive (unless the chap he killed was going to spill the beans about the other two murders), just that he had a tough upbringing and a bad case of CTE (the worst seen in a 27 year old I learned afterwards).

Did it not mention at one point that they suspected he caught him in a compromising position? (Presumably with another guy) Odin being the boyfriend of his wives sister it would have came out eventually surely.

If it did the inference was very subtle, as it seemed to be suggesting that Odin had found out info about the previous two murders. Given the rest of the info in the show, and the fact he was acquitted of the other two, leads me to believe your idea makes more sense - but don't recall it being mentioned in the show. The Bisexual angle was mentioned once in the 2nd episode, then never really developed any further.

I think they were treading carefully - but that was also the reason they feature his 'out' gay friend from school / college and the other 'out' gay player (the big lad that got slimmer after playing) so frequently - he was saying that he was so scared of being outed, football was his beard and he would rather play until it killed him than anyone know about his sexuality... so it was just setting the scene as to how much pressure Aaron was under, and how much he probably would have wanted to keep that a secret.

Just the final to go on Monday.

Fiddy has been in the twitters raging about starz dropping it.
Been watching Power since the very start, but all of season 6 up to episode 10 has been dire. Wish I'd stopped watching at season 5 and left it at that. Do the final 4 episodes do anything to warrant watching them?

I didn’t think much of the episodes about Dre and Paz but the last one about Tommy was a vast improvement!

Finished Medical Police. Quite amusing and actually laughed out loud a few times.
Kind of a piss take of those stupid 24 hrs to save the world Government agency type TV series.

Really, did you miss all the evidence for the Boston ones, yet got off..

There are other ones not mentioned that fit his modus operandi.
