Yes, the benchmark is much higher. Their show stoppers were like the final ones from the BBC series and (in theory) it will only go up from here.Pieman68 said:

My observation still stands though
I have no preference between the BBC and C4 versions. I would say that the standard of the contestants is higher than the BBC version or they just got really lucky with the people who applied.
