Indeed he is, Stein will be popcorn worthy, he does need to rein it in a bit though or Sir Wyn will start to protect her as he just did.

It's not as effective a strategy as Mr Beer's I think, because it has a dual purpose, as opposed to simply getting the truth out.
Indeed Beer's hourly rate will be higher but they will have differing instructions so difficult to compare.

Can anyone else hear Mr Stein heavy breathing into his mic when she's answering?
I don't think Stein will be mic'd up until he's the one asking questions?

I better understand the why of this now I think, in that the Enquiry has provided KCs for the SPMs et al, who are instructing them on points they want raising, and perhaps the tone of it, too.
Didn't know that...... I assumed Beer et al work directly for the Enquiry but different groups of SPM's, unions etc are represented by their own appointed KC's i.e Stein et al

Beer definitely seems to be better at examination. Much more succinct in His questioning.

Henry needs to be more succinct in his questions. He's bordering on verbose at times.

ETA correct barrister's name.

Hopefully he's softening her up, and will trip her up at some point! She's probably been schooled for months by POL's KCs and is well prepared. She will have watched every day and knows the various 'players' she is likely to face, unfortunately 'Forewarned is Forearmed!
Plus, She has her God on her side! wink

I put it to you that Mr Henry has a certain grandiloquence to him which has a significant element of enjoying the sound of his own voice such that PV has just had to ask for a repetition of the first part of his latest missive. Do you agree?

The "can you repeat the first part of your question" is clearly a tactic she has been coached to employ, she uses it often when the question passes a certain length.

If she says "I don't believe I" again I'll scream.

rofl I concur your honour.

He has a slight Rowely Birkin feel about him... I keep picturing him leaning against the mantelpiece of open fire in a gentlemans club, 25 year old single malt in hand, recounting a tale about a convent school for girls.

I’ve participated in multiple ‘lessons learned’ reviews (not my fault, honest guv), and the only lesson I have ever learned from them is that lessons are never learned.

Nothing is down to her is it ?

At the end of this is there as conclusion that will say something like
So and so was found to be evasive and untrustworthy / so and so 2 was found to be honest and sincere etc
If so when does it get announced.

I don't blame her on that actually, this guy is too in love with the sound of his own voice, by the time he gets to the end of his question you've forgotten what the first (important) part was.

He seems to be trying really hard to trip her up into something and I don't think he has it in him to do it.
