Maybe because OP has already seen it.

OP get back into The Wire, it is fantastic! Also as some have said Band of Brothers, Generation Kill and Rome are all good watches. I've also heard good things about Six Feet Under.

Also West Wing is a quality watch (if a bit soft in places)

Spaced is still funny, and Black Books is worth a look.
