Glad to see Harris has picked up a proper gig.
Agreed, good for him though to a degree, it's a shame it's with Paddeh.
I'd love to see a Harris & Neil Clifford road trip... driving
We can make a thousand suggestions but all paths will end at Guy Martin on PH. biggrin

I like Paddy. The bloke is absolutely riddled with the Bolton strain of Northerner and is harmlessly amusing and with a different skillset to Harris they seem to work quite well in terms of delivering entertainment.

That would be good. I assume the show wouldn't have got made without PMcG though.

On the basis that he's on some huge retainer with the BBC but everything else he does turns to st, so they think "What else can we do with him..?"

I agree, I have never had a problem with Paddy (might be my early life Bolton bias), he is entertaining. The Eddie Kidd episode (I think that was Top Gear) was absolutely riveting and emotional.

^^ indeed. This was Paddy at his best because he wasn't trying to put on some cockamamie act and falling short. The one where they had to drive "their dad's" cars was also good because it was pretty genuine and honest.

I'm a big fan of CH but Paddy will probably ruin the show for me.

Looking at the format I reckon he’ll do alright. If he’s not expected to be full on Saturday night entertainer and can be ‘normal blokes being a bit funny at times’ it could be a good show. A great opportunity for Chris to shine as more than just the car nerd too.

Paddy has been through the wringer in his personal life lately and don't forget that he's still human behind the character he plays up. The show hasn't even aired and many are already condemning it without giving it a chance. I know many staunch Clarkson haters from his BBC days that are now in love with Clarkson's Farm

No but you might watch out of curiosity and be surprised.

Wasn’t the private life problems entirely of his own making?

I will admit my intake of tabloid gossip if very minimal.

Mutual split from the semi reliable bits I saw a while ago him and his Mrs still have a good relationship, it's just not the one of a married couple anymore.

Sort of back on topic, CC haven't posted a video of any sort in over a month on their youtube channel. Not sure if Harris hadn't filmed anything else with them upto the last podcast but I'm idly certain he'd mentioned a couple of bits they had filmed already?

There's not even been any of their videos featuring auction cars, which even without Harris you'd think they'd be worth doing. They also mentioned recently something which sounded like they would be showing/hosting some of Harris' back catalogue of videos. I think most are on YouTube anyway, but these would be on the CC channel.

Does seem to have taken a strange turn. Even if Chris is busy filming other things, the social channels should still be running properly.

Or... we could be reading into something from nothing.

Harris always seems to be deliberately sycophantic to towards Lovett to me. The latter has a lot of form for ruffling feathers but they’ll be back.

Ed is the most irritating to me. Not a bad guy as a petrolhead like us but a huge level of smugness. I guess this is why harris is more snappy with him. As you say, it will blow over.

They really do need to sort out the audio sound level......not sure what the issue is but it's always been very low and a bit muffled. I find it difficult to hear especially on the train.
