New, and apparently final, series on BBC2 9pm tonight.
10pm according to FreeviewPlay tv guide!(Should be on BBC iPlayer though)
Sorry if that caused anyone a problem, though being that way round it probably didn't.

I don't think it was up to their usual standard, the contrived twist seemed slightly rushed whilst simultaneously also being a little too drawn out. Still more interesting than 90% of the rest of TV, so alls good!
I enjoyed it. I thought it was better than a lot of last season TBH. Looked like they had a lot of fun filming it. I thought it would make a good play.
Anyone off to see the stage show next year BTW?

At the end I just turned to my mrs. and said "That was pretty dark"
Snap I got an inkling of the twist near the end, so I might have to watch again to see if there are any subtle clues that might have triggered my thoughts. Anyway, good to see them back on form again...
I loved the first one in some respects. I enjoyed the characters and the basic idea of picking sides but the weirdness of the ending just didnt really do it for me. I think things to be a bit more "real world". Second one was good but possibly too straightforward. You just cant please some people ........
I've not seen any of the latest series yet but we started watching right from the beginning a few weeks back so will get to it eventually.
It's relentlessly briliant and it's been so long since we saw the old ones, half the time we recognise the setting but not how it plays out. It's almost like watching it for the first time again.
For personal reasons I wasn't sure if I could cope with The 12 Days of Christine again so we had to hold off on that one for a bit, but after getting through that we're rattling through the rest of series 2. We just watched the one set in the Comfort Support Line call centre which is brilliant, and very funny too.
I'm sort of sad that this kind of TV might be lost for the next generation. My son is aware of classic TV but almost entirely through the lens of social media. I just hope that by the time he's old enough for Inside Number 9, he won't have already seen the best bits through some stty TikTok compilation. Storytelling is an art, and social media is often artless.

It's becoming something of a ritual for me to watch the latest offering over breakfast on a Wednesday, and that was another good one. To be honest they've all been good IMO, some perhaps less good than others but I can't think of a single one I didn't like.
Nice idea for everything to be seen through the doorbell camera, bit like the call centre episode a few series back. Couple of nice twists too towards the end.
