To be fair, that is fan art of her and looks nothing like the Anime or Manga. But as a picture I love it. lick

Marine Boy - a great show, the first Manga i beleive. He used Oxy-gum to breathe underwater!
yes I had a thing for his 'love interest', I seem to remember her name as Marina but Wikipedia says it was Neptina which doesn't seem right to me. Still love manga and animé to this day.
I think in the English (uk) theme tune she is named as Marina IIRC.

Are you sure you're not thinking of Stingray?

my favourite from childhood has to be ullysses 31.

it was french i think, but with english dubbing. pretty hard to find anyone who remembers it from bbc1, might even be a northern thing.

modern: ren and stimpy all the way.
No, not a northern thing at all. Ullysses 31 was great, as was Battle Of The Planets. However, my favourite cartoon ever is Duck Dodgers In The 24th and a Half Century. Duck Dodgers encountered Marvin the Martian for the very first time and I have been inspired ever since!
