After 12 months I still don't get why LAS chose her business. There seems to be a similar business on every street corner. One of my daughter's classmates is in a similar line of work. Unfortunately, I am in the same boat. I always manage to avoid the first few episodes and then get sucked in. My usual conclusion is that none of the candidates have any business experience or knowledge and are failed 'Love Island' applicants..

However, I did look at one of the profiles more closely and there did appear to be some business experience and knowledge. Running a business from 2016 although they have distanced themselves since December 2022. Which makes me wonder if, by chance, I've stumbled on this years winner?

I genuinely can't understand the pivot from serious business people to the Love Island crowd. The show was hugely successful before the Love Island era so why go and change their USP and make it like every other reality TV show?
Because nobody with any genuine credibility will apply anymore.There's a different thread running for the new series
