Like I always say, it's the funniest comedy programme on telly.

Is the 2023 thread up and running yet?

Oh so yum has to be the worst possible business for 22/23 - she’s giving it a good go though - she’s selling sweets online now about 2 years after everyone else.

After 12 months I still don't get why LAS chose her business. There seems to be a similar business on every street corner. One of my daughter's classmates is in a similar line of work. She's worked with some really famous people and been on TV and is only making average amounts of money from what I hear. It seems a vastly overinflated market.

I won't be watching this hour long collection of vacant wannabes licking Lord Sugar's arse. Utter bilge, have better things to do with my time.....

Unfortunately, I am in the same boat. I always manage to avoid the first few episodes and then get sucked in. My usual conclusion is that none of the candidates have any business experience or knowledge and are failed 'Love Island' applicants.

However, I did look at one of the profiles more closely and there did appear to be some business experience and knowledge. Running a business from 2016 although they have distanced themselves since December 2022. Which makes me wonder if, by chance, I've stumbled on this years winner?

It's basically unwatchable now. Last years was awful! So much so that I'd left the room after seeing ten minutes of it. The cringe & comedy factor used to be good but it was awful last year!

I’m still on episode 4 the fishing one, just not motivated enough to watch the rest.

Will be interesting if you discover you are right. You will have broken the formula smile

That'll all have it!

It's just too stale now and boring.

I genuinely can't understand the pivot from serious business people to the Love Island crowd. The show was hugely successful before the Love Island era so why go and change their USP and make it like every other reality TV show?

Because nobody with any genuine credibility will apply anymore.
