It's just entertainment for people who haven't got anything better to do at the time. He is getting well paid to have some harridan shout nasty things at him. Demeaning for him but I guess he needs the money.

I understand there are places where one can pay money to receive similar treatment!

I think he'll get through to the end of the interrogation but be failed for getting (simulated) killed.

Yeah agree. I think as the years have gone on, it's gone a bit softer. The interrogation used to last a lot longer and more aggressive plus the end task was a lot tougher as well.

Awkward timing for Gareth Gates. Don’t expect to see him on breakfast tv. He is currently performing on Arvia which is between Gran Canaria and the Caribbean.

Didn't it used to be that the evade and capture was one episode, the interrogation was one episode and then the final task was another full episode?

I'm happy with the decision about who passed selection. If they had awarded it to all of them it would have felt far too much like "all participants get a medal".

Hancock had to make to the end, because they wanted him to suffer , but he was never going to pass.

The right man passed, but he would need to be tested to make sure his stutter wasn't a hinderance. He would need to be able to give a clear message over the radio while under extreme pressure.
