The first movie in the Star Wars saga, The Phantom Menace, has received the 3D treatment and a trailer has now been released: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIAzJgfNYbo
Apparently, all the Star Wars movies will be released in 3D but it all depends on the success of TPM.
As a Star Wars fan, I stopped adding to Lucas' billions years ago due to his blatant drip-drip approach of releasing content which was aimed at solely milking the cash cow for every last cent.
Obviously, the 3D in the trailer is lost on those of us without a 3D setup but I thought I would post it anyway so I could have a b
h about the stingy bearded t
t who has never shown any directorial flair.

Be a black and white version next.
Followed, no doubt, by the silent version.Shuvi Tupya said:

I don't even think you will be able to buy a brand new 3D TV in twenty years as the fad will have passed by, again.
No, not just you. No interest whatsoever here too.I don't even think you will be able to buy a brand new 3D TV in twenty years as the fad will have passed by, again.

Nah, the current 3D era won't last that long. It's more likely that in twenty years it will be making another state-of-the-art comeback, resulting in yet another round of disappointment I don't even think you will be able to buy a brand new 3D TV in twenty years as the fad will have passed by, again.

An expensive way to get a headache and a blurry picture.

You will have to wear a bullet proof vest when watching an action flick and waterproof clothing to watch porn..
Anyone seen this yet? Is there a lot done in 3D or is it just a scam to get more money out of stupid Star Wars fans like me ? I know they're not the greatest of the Star Wars saga, but I thought it might be cool to take my partner to see them as she has never witnessed Star Wars at the cinema
At £8.90 a ticket for "super saver" screenings, I was just wondering if it's worth it? As it's not a small amount of money...

Saw this yesterday also.
The kid in the chair annoyed me intensely as he insisted on kicking my chair despite me telling his father.
However the film was good. The 3D effects were impressive at first but then it just seemed to be watching a normal film. This bit that gave me a headache were the panning scenes, the buildings panned were juddery. I expected the pod racing to be a lot better than it was.
Also the 3D glasses whilst looking smart hurt the bridge of my nose and left ear, guess this was because they were on-top of my existing specs.
Would I go to see the rest of the franchise, yes its Star wars. Would I jump up to see another 3D. Not sure.
it was weird watching a film at the cinema when I have the DVD at home so I know what's going to happen.
