Sorry if it’s covered elsewhere but did anyone else catch this - it’s currently on BBC iPlayer and well worth a watch. What a truly remarkable young man and I don’t mind admitting having to wipe dust from my eye watching his return to racing towards the end of the film.

Just watched this, incredible young man.

Good to see him back doing what he loves.

And I don't mind admitting it got very dusty in my front room at times.

Watched it earlier, Billy is a true inspiration and a great example of how to make the best of what life throws at you.

I hadn't seen the in car footage of the accident before. Respect to him to coming back from that.

Top lad!

His poor mum though - part of her probably hoped he'd pack it in!

To get back into a car after that crash, he must love his racing and be ludicrously brave.

Not sure if enjoy is the right word but a good documentary.

Just watched it - thought it was a good programme. I do hope he makes it to F1 at some stage - purely to break down barriers and change people's perceptions towards disability.

I hadn't either, shocking.

Just watching now, as above not sure enjoy is the correct word.

Yes, I rarely get upset at anything on tv but that sequence was very uncomfortable viewing.

Very good program, BIlly is obviously super string mentally but you do get the impression he could just burst into tears at any point (and who would blame him).

Great family behind him, lots of motorsport support.

The crash footage is grim though, probably because we know the outcome.

Outwardly he gives that impression but after watching the programme I can't help feeling that there is a deep sadness there.

What an amazing attitude for someone so young. Clearly did not want to dwell on his circumstances and had a belief that he would race again. Also what a genuinely nice human being he is!!

I actually did enjoy watching this show, I know it sounds odd, but I found him absolutely remarkable the way he has coped with everything and gotten back in the seat. Such a brave lad and I wish him all the very best. I doubt he'll get to F1 in all honesty, but to be able to continue doing what he loves is excellent.

We're all (well mostly) petrolheads here and he is doing what most of us would love to be able to do I imagine, long may he continue.
