The DC TV 'Arrowverse' thread
Discussion
I know there are a fair few fans, so thought I'd start a thread to discuss Flash/Arrow/Legends of Tomorrow/Supergirl.
This is about the latest episodes in the US - so if you don't wear an eye patch and have a peg leg, don't read as there'll be spoilers!
For me, Arrow has been floundering for a while and this latest series just doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
But Flash is really picking up pace and has long been my favourite, the current storyline with Savatar is good and the last ep with HR was a cracker too.
Legends really seems to be coming into its own now too, oddly though thanks to bringing in baddies from the other Arrowverse shows, Malcolm Merlin, Damien Dhark and Eobard Thorne. And this series was all the better for the lack of Rip Hunter, annoyingly they brought him back.
As for Supergirl, I watched a few of the first series but it never really caught my attention despite having the rather lovely (and fappening revealed) Melissa Benoit in it. Have watched the crossover episodes, but it was all a bit too 90210 for me. Have been told it has improved though so willing to give it a shot.

I love watching supergirl but in mute!!!! Tbh is has got a bit better. She HOT tho!!!
Flash is awesome, not 100% convinced by legends tbh. Gotham is probably the best 'DC' type program out there at the moment I'd say.

Im up to date with the Flash, out of all of the above shows its the only one I now watch, I used to watch arrow but gave it up as trying to juggle 6 shows at once was a bit much.
I did however watch Supergirl, Arrow, DC episode when they all starred together for a week last year??? I think?? So had to watch them to keep up with the story.

Just downloading last nights "Arrow". Took The Legends a while to figure its Eobard Thawne but Thawne and the Legion of Doom are underestimating the Legends. Legends with it cross over characters is rapidly improving whereas The Flash Is only just coming back on song. Personally looking forward to a Goodie "Killer Frost".

I enjoyed the voice over for legends makes a change for it to be a baddie! And black flash!!Yeah, I guess with Legends they had to do the first season to set it all up, now I'm really liking the additional characters and the fact that they can go a bit more 'off piste' with it.
I just really dislike the Rip Hunter character, which is odd as I loved him as Rory in Doctor Who. But Rip is just annoying, too overacted and especially annoying as 'Phil'.
I'm thinking they've done 'Phil' so RIp isn't as annoying comparatively when he returns next week, with a bit of Thorne tweaking....

I like Flash and Gotham but I've given up on the rest.
I found the main star of Arrow to be too much of a miserable serious git. I can only assume if he smiles it will actually kill him.
Legends just didn't seem to flow very well, did the first season but it didn't hold me enough to bother with any others.
Supergirl I also did the first season and it showed some promise but I just didn't believe her. I don't read the comics so it could just be me but I'd rather she was less of a wet blanket in her real life, if I want that I can just watch her cousin. I'm not saying I'd like her to be a stripper who murders the customers (although...) but just someone that isn't the American idea of the perfect little girl being bullied by the boss that secretly thinks she's great. Go out, get drunk and shag some strangers like most hot girls of your age.

Did you get a chance to watch ?
Not yet, will find time soon I'm sure.I heard that there's a SG/Flash crossover coming, that's going to be a musical episode (like the one in Buffy if you remember that) and was originally horrified by the prospect.
Then I read that both Benoit and Grant Gustin were both in Glee, so hopped on YT and by gum they can both sing bloody well!
It'll be a massive cheese-fest but at least they can sing unlike the Buffy cast.
