Deckard is the protagonist from the film Blade Runner.

the link posted earlier will tell you all about what replicants are.

to those who asked, whether or not the lead character in an old sci fi film is a replicant is of course not the ultimate question to most people, however those who enjoy old and slightly obscure sci fi films are not most people.

well because the film leaves it unanswered whether he is or not, and the vast majority of the times the film gets discussed, the question of whether or not Deckard is a replicant will come up.
