Do you talk whilst watching TV?

Just watched HIGNFY with a few other people - ended up missing half of it as the women (and one bloke) kept having short conversations related to what was going on.

Eg:
Isn't Lembit's head large and wonky.
Is he still seeing that Cheeky Girl.
Was Sian Lloyd the daughter of Hugh Lloyd.

I am very much from the 'STFU and watch' camp. Am I odd?

I did this the first few times but to no avail.
