Help to settle a Facebook argument...

Well, last night a link posted by a "friend" regarding the riots and police powers boiled my piss - well almost as much as she does (yoghurt knitter, squatter, ex addict etc...)
I decided to bate her and actually answer back to the drivel thats clogging up my notifications with the ultimate aim of getting her to delete me and have some fun at the same time...

With this comment: The solution to riots started by police shooting someone? have the police shoot more people. yes, that makes sense.
The conversation we have had is shown below for the amusement of PH, what is your view on it?

Me - They deserve it, why should people have their businesses and livelihoods (those of staff as well) ruined? All for a little bit of fun/a new TV. It would set a precedent and stop others doing it as well as allowing the police to regrow some balls and take some power back.

t. thats not what it was about at all. it wouldnt stop others doing it, the whole thing started because they shot an innocent man. the police need stopping, theyve already killed hundreds of innocent people without any consequences
Me - He wasn't under surveillance for no reason at all, there wasn't firearms info for no reason....and what's the link between some Chav getting shot and some people deciding they want something for nothing. They are scum, lowest of the low, would be so much better off without them contributing to the gene pool or scrounging benefits, costing the government and therefore working people money that could be better spent elsewhere and thus dragging down the country...
Lentalist - He still wasnt posing a threat to anyone, the gun was in the boot of his car, the bullet lodged in the police mans radio was police issue. It started because of the way black people are treated by the police, by the blatent racism, and a society, not with them. Shooting them, taking away their families housing, and marginalizing them further will not help anything, they will feel worse of, and we just have another catalyst to more riots.
Me - People need to learn that if you do work hard enough you can get it all, look at Alan Sugar, Richard Branson, Steve Jobs and so many more, they came from little and now have an awful lot. People have been brought up thinking they are owed something for nothing, owed a house, a phone and enough money to do as they please....you shouldn't be, people should work for it, a large proportion of taxpayers money is spent subsidising the work-shy and those that think certain jobs are below them, look at the number of immigrants that are able to find work (obviously certain people e.g. disabled will always need an element of help).... If people work hard enough they will be able to achieve and get what they want, no matter the circumstances. Thise that dont and look to cause triuble will now be faced with police that can actually fight back on level terms and will stop contributing to society (hopefully). As soon as one person is shot and killed I can guarantee that it will stop one hell of a lot more people doing it and we wouldn't be faced with this problem.
So this is where it stands now...anybody got an opinion?

Someone I have known for well over a decade started ranting on about the recession all being deliberately arranged by some organisation which controls world governments. He even continued when I suggested he may need a new foil hat. At which point he was 'unfriended' and deleted from MS Messenger, too.
This reminds me of a thread a while back where the might of PH managed to perusade a rabid anti speed person that speed wasn't the principal problem. That was fun.
For your argument to work, it needs to be even more ludicrous. Suggest a "running man" style gameshow where the scum can win TVs at the risk of death, or something.
