My guess is that this will one day end quite badly for them.
Will this be another heap or fail for NK or will the market for charcoal collapse with oversupply sooner or later?

The American's should retaliate by loading up a few B52s and carpet bombing North Korea with DVDs of Team America World Police to show them they are taking the threat seriously.
Team America World Police is one of Kim's favourite films apparentlythat would have low transport costs too - coming straight over from china.
Despite the US's undisputed ability to nuke NK into one big glass car park either from orbit or elsewhere in response to a first strike - it's difficult to credibly threaten to do so, since it would also obliterate the US's sworn ally (and favoured supplier of Samsung tellys) next door.
NK has an estimated 13,000 artillery pieces within range of Seoul - the US doesn't have enough B52s (or B2s or Sub/Ship launched TLAMs) to get more than a fraction of them with carpet bombing with conventional weapons before the artillery pieces they don't get flatten Seoul.
The NK regime is mad, but not stupid.

There is the small matter of NK's neighbours to think about. The South Koreans would kike to be reunited like Germany, so long as it doesn't bankrupt them, and on the other side is China, who you may have heard of.
Bombing or otherwise militarily attacking North Korea is a total non-starter and in the end at the very least South Korea, North Korea and China will have to talk to each other. The US would like to think that they're necessary too but other than being South Korea's guarantor/protection I can't quite see why they're involved.

They are claiming "The United States is about to ignite a nuclear war ....."

I'd love them to come up with evidence of a direct threat on such a scale
The resolution today mentioned individuals who are subject to a travel ban and a freeze on assets, there must be some proper deals going on, what would they have been selling ?

Utterly bonkers.

How can that not be construed as an act of war?!

If it's on PH, then I'm taking a guess that the SK/Americans probably know how much artillery is pointing at the south, and --- I might be going out of a limb here --- but they probably have a solution already. (Considering they've had 40 years to prepare).NK has an estimated 13,000 artillery pieces within range of Seoul - the US doesn't have enough B52s (or B2s or Sub/Ship launched TLAMs) to get more than a fraction of them with carpet bombing with conventional weapons before the artillery pieces they don't get flatten Seoul.

Yeah that'll be why the US has stood by and done nothing whilst Pyongyang has continually thumbed their nose at them whilst developing an ICBM and nuclear weapons capability with help from their mates in Tehran. But you've gone out on a limb and guessed that they've probably got a solution - so that's fine then.
Their solutions in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan worked out really well didn't they.
