You know what's terrifying?

I am into politics yet know of not a single Labour policy other than to spend wildly and indiscriminately with borrowed money. That's it.

Yet somehow, despite not having any policies beyond the above and having ruined this country's economy, the every day retard in the UK is prepared to vote for them again!

Never underestimate the stupidity of the average person!!!!!

A poll taken at mid term, organised by a man who wants to see the tory's move to the right, then shouted about by the world's least reliable newspaper.

Anyone got any salt?

Surely you you aren't implying that the Dail Mail sometimes lacks a little journalistic reliabilty?

Say what you like about Blair - he had more charisma & charm in his little finger than that weedy grey accountant guy heading Labour these days.

A bit like the current Osborne policy then? Osborne is now cutting the deficit more slowly than Alistair Darling proposed in 2010.

There is an argument of course that had Darling been holding the key to the piggy bank he would not have achieved his own target; the markets would have panicked and crashed along with the pound, rates soared etc. But we'll never know

I'm no fan of New Labour but the differences between the two main parties in this country when it comes to the economy are minuscule. Both are for higher taxation, lots of spending and lots of borrowing.

So do nothing and have no polices and you win the election.

I think a lot of labour voters wont vote for the party , they jsut wont vote as the dont like Miliband and find the party completely out of touch with them.

I also think a lot of traditioanl working class that would of voted labour will vote ukip as immigration is a prime importance to them they dont want immigrants stealing their jobs and driving down the wages of unskilled work.

These two factors could have a detrimental effect on labour.

Small problem with that - Darling's deficit reduction plan was based on the assumption that the recession was a blip and forecast that growth would return to 3% by now. Without that growth (which his own budget document confirmed that no economist agreed was likely) we would be borrowing more now than we were back in 2009.

A poll in yesterday's Times put the most likely outcome of the next election as a Labour/Lib Dem coalition. Should that come to fruition, I think it really would be time to turn my occasional idle musing over emigration into reality.

As a polite starting point with no expletives 'unmitigated disaster except for the Blair bank account and property portfolio' would be about right followed by 'but not earned on the basis of anything much good for the country long-term'.

I think the a significant proportion of the electorate vote for Labour for one reason. They think that this ensures the continuance of The Benefits Society, the benefits promised, the living standards promised and the understanding that work is no longer required if you are idle and live in the UK.

Much more attractive than the reality of not being able to spend more than you earn which is offered by the slightly more realistic Conservative ideas. Cameron will be a one term Prime Minister and he will follow Blair into profitable statesmanship. Labour will make an even bigger mess of the economy overborrow even more waste billions on Eco nonsense and make plenty of money for themselves personally and their cohorts in the process.

So you wouldn't just go for 'mass murderer' and 'war criminal' then?

Or, maybe they think they are a party who care for the poor, sick, disadvantaged and disabled more than the Conservatives and value that?
