Just seen on Facebook that he passed away in a car accident, very sad if true

Wether you like the F&F franchise or not he was a big petrol head and skyline lover

His films got me in to cars so gutted about this news frown

Sadly the reports are true. Big crash in his Carrera GT, who was driving not confirmed yet.

RIP to both occupants

Tragic news about Paul and also the 2nd occupant of the car. Thoughts with the families.

Damn, he was a cool guy frown

There is a photo of the crashed car on jalopnik. It's very, very bad. It looks to me like they didn't die in the fire and it was the impact.

Apparently he was the passenger, awful news.

Really liked the movies, trashy awesome fun.

More info and a picture of the fireball, must have been a serious crash. Looks like a war zone.

Was just 11 years old when the first F&F movie came out, a true icon from my childhood gone! Taken away in a supercar crash, wouldn't be any other way. RIP!

Had the newest F&F on DVD for a while but never got round to watching it. Don't think I'll enjoy it now.
