Wonder what the BBC were interviewing him about?

I know they'll be loads of Staffy owners along soon saying what great dogs they are and that this dog was badly treated / handled etc.
But I still don't think they're great pets. Any dog that can do that to it's owner, a member of their family or some other unlucky person in the wrong place, shouldn't be kept as pets. I know all dogs are capable of this but you don't hear so many stories of people being mauled by their labrador let alone a chihuahua or something

Reports of an ASBO notice being seen posted on the door of his flat.
Wonder if it was to do with his dog?
What a crap way to go, bleeding out in front of TV crew at the hands of your own dog!
Given that the root cause of most bad dog behaviour is bad owners, it's probably a perfect example of being hoist by one's own petard.Wonder if it was to do with his dog?

None so deaf as those who will not hear. I SAID "THERE'S NONE SO DEAF AS THOSE WHO WILL NOT HEAR"!But I still don't think they're great pets. Chihuahua's always going to struggle to get enough of a human in their jaws to do real, mortal damage, but as for Labs:

Any dog can be dangerous, and I think the Staffie is unlucky that it has been adopted as the dog of choice for morons. I have known some great Staffies and some bloody horrible Labs and Retrievers. As is often said, a lot about temperament can be put down to the owner.
It is sad news that this chap has been killed whatever his background.
Knowing that any dog can be dangerous, I also accept that some have the potential to be worse than others, which is where we have to turn to our American friends for guidance.....

A Pitbull's traits can either be used to create a great dog or an awful one.
It's for sometime been a 'status' dog owned by understandable / unsuitable people and the Staffordshire BT is often linked to the banned American BT (even though some question the validity of banned breeds).
