I wonder if they've had a visit from the friendly travelling community?

My mate is there for a short break, that is exactly that has happened. Apparently they've been rampaging through all of the towns along the coast

No, surely not.

Then again:

North Norfolk News said:
They coincided with the arrival of a group of travellers who have set up a makeshift camp in the middle of one of Runton Road car parks.

A friend works in a bar in Cromer, she was told that the place is closed until Monday at the earliest, and even then they don't expect to stay open later than 9pm this week. Apparently a teenage girl was raped last night too by two men.

Shame for the place, as it's absolute high season for them at the moment, and they're losing a lot of trade.

If you or I spent 10 minutes too long in the car park we'd receive a bigger punishment than they have for taking over the town and going on a crime spree. Remarkable isn't it?

We're staying in Cromer as it's a handy base for a week pottering around North Norfolk. Popped into town last night to eat and on the way back we passed a sizeable group of pissed-up teenagers, then a smaller bunch of very loud mouthed drunks probably in their 30s. Not at all surprised it kicked off, both these groups were the kind that sort of radiate attitude. Quite possibly caravan utilising nomadic travellers.

Feel for anyone staying in the town itself, luckily our accomodation is probably a mile outside the town centre so we can avoid any bother.

Ah, a cheeky tale of good honest Romany Folk.

The idea of hippos having holidays is bizarre. Surely their whole lives are a holiday?

Odd really, it wasn't exactly difficult to work out the cause yet none of the mainstream press even hinted at it.

So yet again it's tolerated and allowed to continue.

The worst bit is I could copy & paste this exact same response onto quite a few stories!

Note: sticking your head in the sand is not an effective strategy.
