at the very least this and the news forums should be merged?
Hmmm... I agree at the very least, the problem with splitting the pie & piston into different bars, is the only reason to come into it is if you have an interest in it, many don't, that's trouble, it makes for ghetto-isation, while with one big forum, while theres loads of stuff im not interested, you come across things you ordinarily would have passed you by, which turn out to quite interesting.I could be outraged at something I'd not really be interested in the same way if I overheard some crashing bore talking utter bks in a pub, I might just be spurred into putting a different view, because I'm there and have been afronted (I may have made that word up).
While it is now, I might not bother, simply cos I won't be trolling through a lot forums, which I have the vaguest interest in.
Sure that's the case for many, interesting views will be lost.

I agree with that.I'm not interested in politics generally (only found this as I was browsing all the new sub forums to get a "feel for it") but now and again there is (has been) a debate that interests me and I've aired my opinion.
I doubt that will happen much now.
