This is what makes my piss boil about the expenses scandal. Our troops are desperate for equipment to do the job in Afghanistan safely , which requires money.They are not equipped properly regardless of what winky & co say. These slugs are claiming a life of luxury whilst our troops are paying the price with they're blood.

To Joe Public it is, to them they seem to regard it as like being caught smoking behind the bike shed. Breaking a rule, not the law. Presumably we will have to go through that annual farce they call the state opening of parliament where HMQ reads Winky's speech out. Wouldn't it be great if she put it to one side and said something like;
"whilst I've got you all gathered here, I wanted a chat about your understanding of the concept of fraud - particularly relating to your expenses claims..............."
Whilst the Uddin episode was utterly deplorable and the woman is basically a thief and should be punsished accordingly this is far worse. Lord Paul is one of the wealthiest men in Britain and for him to use this kind of deception to swindle the tax payer for a few grand betrays a serious character fault. Not only should he be prosecuted but he should also be stripped of his title.

Links?(Not that I doubt the allegation; Malik is exactly the sort of despicable wet turd who would try and pull the race card, and I can imagine the other two would do exactly the same, but a link to the story would be interesting.)

Of course Lord Paul is also a non dom. So he's an overseas born Labour peer who chooses to pay no tax in the UK and then repays the country that enobled him by stealing £20k a year of taxpayers money. As well as being prosecuted and having his peerage stripped he should have his citizenship revoked and be deported to wherever he claims is his home for tax purposes.

There's only one thing the Politbureau hates more than successfull entrepreneurs; cars. So he's certain to be made and example of.The BBC R5 drive time programme just announced that Lord Paul has asked for his expenses to be investigated. The morons hosting the show had no idea why he should be asking for this and suggested that he felt left out because he hadn't been investigated! If the BBC's news and sport channel can't even keep up with the news....
