I never relish people getting hurt, however there is something about the bull getting a few points.

Baahaha. Serves them right.

Go to watch a bull get slaughtered then complain when it hurts you? Pull the other one.

Edit: Had no sound when watching this originally. Didn't realise that the bull fight wasn't the killing kind.

Can't believe they killed it, if I had a bull that could jump like a bloody cat he'd be in a travelling show and treated like a star.

Yeah, "LOL".

FFS, putting aside what you way feel about bullfighting for a minute, are you really saying you laughed out loud at this story?

While I didn't laugh out loud its a case of 'live by the sword' as far as I'm concerned - If they weren't there they wouldn't have been hurt.

Exactly! Being responsible seems to be a diminishing trait these days.

Well they have baned bullfighting in Catalonia. Hopefully the rest of Spain will make it into the 21st century soon.

Glad they killed it quickly after, its ridiculous that people get hurt in this way.

Internet analogy warning:

What happens if something happens at a motorsport event - car ends up in the crowd at a speedway or a rallycar wipes out the crowd. People who are campaigning to have motorsport banned (the greenies, those that live near Spa and moan etc.) post a clip with "LOL, they got what they deserved, supporting motorsport"

"Live by the sword" - fine, acceptable risks and all that, but to post a clip up saying that they got what they deserved and laughing at the victims is a little over the line - no matter what your personal views are.

Brand me as a keyboard warrior or whatever, but the fact remains that people got hurt, which is not cause for celebration in my book.

Bull fighting is basically a few thousand people watching a bull get stabbed to death. I don't think you can compare it to motorsport. In fact, I take offence at it being called a sport at all since there's nothing sporting about it.

The Bull never wins. It's always dead by the end of it.

At least this time it had a fighting chance and went down fighting.

One is a human. The other is an animal made for this very purpose.

Not a sport I agree with but it is part of Spanish culture.

Just a shame that culture is so barbaric to prolong the suffering of animals when they are slaughtered as an excuse for knuckle dragger public entertainment.

Don't know what to think about the injuries in the crowd. Part of me says that their attendance funds bullfighting, so rofl. Part of me says that there would be women and kids there.

Definitely a shame about the bull though.
