The more I hear about the EU gravy train's spend, spend, spend, with no controls and no self control, the more I want to murder small fluffy animals...
I don't really mean small fluffy animals, but I don't want GCHQ sending anyone round...

Brown ratified the treaty, it was already law. Referendum therefore pointless.
Can the law not be reversed?Pesty said:
How on earth can this be. a country has to stay in something forever because one man signed something. hmmm
vote for me when Im PM I will un bind it.
No treaty can be binding forever. Of course there are possible repercussions if we simply repudiate it, but I cannot see that said repercussions can be that bad. Also the Lisbon treaty allows for a state to withdraw from the EU.vote for me when Im PM I will un bind it.

What exactly do we get in return for all this cash we're giving them?
You get to be a member of an illustrious club that will again, and again, put up your membership fees!Of course Cameron could have had a referendum - he didn't want to because he loves the EU now because he 'was for turning!' - just look at him sidle up with Sardozy and the angel of the Merkel) His new ambition is to become EU President (to put one over Bliar).
You watch and see, when the coalition implode and bloody Labour get back in, over the waters CMD will creep.
