Major explosion/bomb in Oslo

The street where the bomb exploded looked more like it was hit with a tornado.
Can't believe how much damage a car bomb can cause, if that is what it was
Carnage. Someone said it might have been a change in pressure due to a gas explosion, but there is serious damage to those buildings. Can't believe how much damage a car bomb can cause, if that is what it was
I've got rid of all the flights, and got rid off all the staff that don't need to be here at the airport.
In 3 years I hadn't seen an armed officer, and now they are everywhere.
They seem to have a clear idea of who they are looking for / what type of ethnic background.
I always thought Norway was safe from Al Qaeda, the amount of Somali asylum seekers that have been looked after and all that.
I'd be suprised if it was a Norwegian extremist, I don't think I've ever come accross any genuine hate being vented at the government. You'd have to be some kind of smacked arse to feel hard done to here.

I'm in two minds about the people behind this, obviously the majority will point the fingers straight at Al Qaeda but this isn't a typical trait of how they "do things".
Very few general public around, everything seems to point towards something away from a religious motive, that said, it is early days. No doubt we will know exactly who was behind it in 48 hours.
Either way, I hope the people behind this have a very slow and painful death.

Tonker,Once again you make a random reference to Ireland. Once again, I ask you if you have a problem with the Irish?
In case you missed it, the Queen visited Ireland a few weeks ago, and she managed to put 800 years of hostilities to bed. She did it with a green dress, a walkabout, and a few words in Gaelic. No other head of state could have pulled off such a coup.

I would recommend that you forget the past.
We live in the present, and the Queen has made it much more peaceful. I would ask you to desist from stoking the flames.
Most of us are moving on.
Peace is more important than prejudice, don't you think?

Latest on Sky, possibly the same bloke who set the bomb, then drove the the Island and masquerading as a copper doing a safety check after the bombing in Oslo, murdered people at close range with an automatic weapon.
Lone Ranger?
I hope so in a kind of a way, then this won't drag on, and the families can get some closure.Lone Ranger?

This, absolutely. This is the result of our, from their own position, liberal humanist politicians believing that their view and belief system would "automatically" transfer to those they welcomed to our shores.
Idiots who don't understand the totality of culture and belief systems and the problems of integrating many different ones.
It isn't racist to point this out.
In the UK, we've not yet sorted out our class system, so attempting to deal with another level of potential and real conflict seems, to me, to be rather biting off more than we can chew.
